Ennio Vivas

Born in Popayán (department of Cauca), the flute player Ennio Vivas was one of the founding members of the Conjunto Alma Caucana, Ennio Vivas. He has been a prolific composer with many tunes to his credit, including "Viva Popayán" (porro), "Maruja" (pasaje), "Tamboras de mi Cauca" (bambuco), "Mi viejo Popayán" (pasillo), "Alma Caucana" (pasillo), "El Caucanito" (bambuco), "Romance" (pasillo) and "La voz del agua" (bolero).
